McLaren Automotive Limited in Baltimore, MD is seeking a VPC Technician to perform mechanical, electrical and software repairs on McLaren vehicles under supervision. You will ensure issues are resolved to exacting standards and vehicles meet wholesale delivery schedules.

The role requires hands-on diagnostics, adherence to safety, and a willingness to learn high-performance systems. You will document repairs, support vehicle finishing, and be part of a team delivering premium automotive

Qualifications

• Technical training or certification in automotive repair.
• Basic diagnostic skills and ability to use automotive tools.
• Willingness to learn high-performance vehicle systems and McLaren procedures.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work safely.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality workmanship.
• Team player willing to learn and take direction.
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Flexible to work occasional weekends and extended hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on McLaren vehicles as directed by the VPC Technical Supervisor.
• Execute software updates and system configurations to ensure vehicles meet current specifications.
• Complete technical campaign re-works in accordance with factory technical bulletins and service actions.
• Document all repairs accurately and communicate findings to the VPC Technical Supervisor.
• Cross-train on polishing and paint preparation techniques to support vehicle finishing activities.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
• Support vehicle movement and processing activities as required .
