Ilmor Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Cylinder Head Technician to perform thorough inspection, preparation, assembly, testing, and documentation of cylinder head components for high-performance engines.

The role emphasizes meticulous workmanship and adherence to strict quality standards. The candidate will work with cylinder heads from racing and marine applications, applying precision measurement techniques and nondestructive testing methods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with cylinder heads and high-performance engines.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines.
• Attention to detail and organization skills.
• HS Diploma or Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, cleaning, quality checking, and crack testing using nondestructive methods.
• Measuring, preparing, re-assembling and testing of components to defined standards.
• Follow engine and component record-keeping procedures.
• Inspect cylinder heads and components for correct standards.
• Machining components and assembling to required specifications.
