Qualifications

• Dynamic, high-energy individual with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be cautious and attentive to detail in a shop environment.
• Exceptional mechanical abilities to support cylinder head work and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Locate and record work orders for customer supplied heads.
• Disassemble and inspect heads for damage and bolts; coordinate bolt removal with sales.
• Keep customer parts organized and area clean; assist with outside service for blasting.
• Record monthly numbers for accounting and inspect returns from outside service.
• Sand blast valves and other parts; maintain machine condition and cleanliness.
• Blend cylinder heads and inspect completed sets.
• Own all aspects of quality: visual inspection, deburring, washing, and care of cylinder heads.
• Assemble cylinder heads when needed.
• Maintain machine maintenance, water/coolant levels, and quality checks.
• Pressure test all cylinder heads and ensure accuracy of parts for work orders.
• Assist with inventory of all consumables and parts used in the cylinder head department.
• Promote a positive workplace by collaborating with manufacturing and staff.
