Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a CPU Engineer to lead high-performance CPU design efforts impacting multiple industries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, verify, and implement multi-core CPU operations across Qualcomm Business Units.

The role focuses on architecture, pre-silicon design, and post-silicon validation, with proficiency in C/C++, HDL, and industry-standard tools to deliver robust, power-efficient CPUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of hardware/software engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of computer architecture and micro-architecture to develop high-performance CPU designs.
• Collaborates across teams to define requirements, specifications, and trade-offs.
• Writes detailed technical documentation for CPU designs.
• Pre-silicon design, verification, and post-silicon validation activities.
