Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a Tax Manager to join our High Net Worth (Family Wealth Services) practice. You will oversee tax preparation, perform technical reviews, and consult on complex matters for high-net-worth individuals, related family partnerships and trusts.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising the tax team, and driving client relationships. You will also work on planning, research, quarterly and year-end consulting, and administrative duties as needed,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Law; Master’s in Tax/LLM preferred.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates.
• EA License or CPA certification required.
• Strong project and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Ability to grow and maintain client relationships.
• Experience with tax software and technology.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax preparation and perform technical reviews for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Consult on complex tax matters for individuals, partnerships and trusts.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and quarterly/year‑end consulting.
• Delegate, supervise and mentor tax team members.
• Develop customer relationships and expand business opportunities.
• Communicate progress, issues and resolutions to clients and leadership.
• Monitor engagement performance including billing and collections.
• Lead a collaborative, inclusive team culture and stretch goals.
