VCU Health in Richmond, VA is seeking a High Level Disinfection Technician to support sterile processing in the HLD rooms. You will decontaminate, high-level disinfect and validate devices across numerous models, following manufacturers' instructions and HIPAA guidelines.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus completion of VCUHS reprocessing course.
• CBSPD or HSPA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of high-level disinfection experience.
• Willing to learn across 1,000+ devices and 100+ models.
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminates and high-level disinfects equipment.
• Operates and maintains AERs and other devices.
• Ensures proper safety measures and PPE usage.
• Follows sterilization parameters per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintains documentation and tracks devices with the system.
• Supports team and participates in special projects.
