Job summary

Strategic Focus Educational Services is seeking a High Impact Tutor (English Language Arts & Math) to provide targeted small-group intervention using our instructional model.

You will work with site leads and leadership to deliver data-informed instruction, help students strengthen foundational skills, and build confidence. This role is ideal for educators, paraprofessionals, college students pursuing education degrees, and others passionate about student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction to small groups of approximately 3–10 students.
• Implement structured lesson plans and intervention materials with fidelity.
• Build positive relationships that encourage student engagement and confidence.
• Monitor student understanding and adjust instructional support as needed.
• Create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.
• Support both in-school and after-school academic programs.
• Collaborate with Site Leads, campus staff, and Program Leadership to support student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and required program documentation.
• Collect student work samples and other instructional artifacts as required.
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
• Serve as a positive role model who demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to educational excellence.
