Job summary

BGRE creates premier offices for ambitious businesses and seeks a Director to lead the Regional FP&A team for the North America Office portfolio, reporting to the Vice President of Finance. This role will drive consolidation and financial strategy to support executive decision‑making, while contributing to forecasting and budgeting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8–10 years in FP&A with 3–5 years in leadership.
  • Experience in commercial office real estate preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics skills.
  • Proficiency with Yardi Voyage; Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional FP&A with 3–5 staff to deliver timely financial analysis.
  • Own annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Develop dynamic financial models for planning and scenario analysis.
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly IFRS forecasting.
  • Coordinate leasing forecasts and investment performance analysis.
  • Present financials to senior executives and investors.

We are seeking a Director to lead our Regional FP&A team for the North America Office portfolio, reporting to the Vice President, Finance. This role will drive consolidation and financial strategy across North America to support executive decision-making, while remaining involved in the details to contribute directly to forecasting and budgeting.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the regional FP&A team of 3-5 employees in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Own, manage and lead the strategic planning for the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range planning, as well as discounted cash flows and valuations projections
  • Oversee the development and evolution of comprehensive dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis
  • Manage and provide strategic oversight to the monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting
  • Oversee the quarterly leasing forecast, which includes updates of actual leasing activity, forecasted leasing assumptions, and early tenant expirations
  • Partner with department heads and business units to align financial goals with operational objectives and provide them with necessary information for business functions
  • Prepare, review and present financial presentations and reporting packages for upper management and investors, at various ownership levels
  • Champion enhancements and continuous improvements in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Oversee coordination with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to review results, investigate variances and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration across asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relations
  • Oversee and add strategic insights to special or ad‑hoc projects and financial analysis for management as needed
  • Oversee and conduct comprehensive evaluations of investment performance and returns
  • Strategically manage cash flow and equity allocations across designated investment portfolios
  • Advance strategic business objectives across a diversified portfolio of investments at varying stages of development
Team Leadership
  • Provide input on current and future staffing needs to Vice President, Finance to support operational demands
  • Actively coach and develop direct reports, providing real‑time feedback and structured growth plans that empower the team to deliver high‑impact financial narratives
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture through regular feedback, coaching, and performance management practices
Your Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role Experience working in commercial office real estate preferred. Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and strategic planning Proven ability to present complex financial information to senior executives and non‑financial stakeholders. Experience with financial systems such as Yardi Voyage Experience leading the adoption of AI‑enabled tools and workflows to improve financial planning, reporting, and operational efficiency Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to be flexible and dynamic as the business moves and changes are made Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary Type: Exempt
  • Pay Frequency: Bi‑weekly
  • Annual Base Salary Range: $170,000 – 195,000
