Fasanara Digital, the crypto arm of Fasanara Capital, is seeking a High-Frequency Trading Operations Engineer in New York to keep our trading platform running reliably. You will be the first line of response for issues across our trading infrastructure, working with development, quantitative research and trading teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor the trading infrastructure in real time and identify root causes.
• Coordinate incident triage with development, research and trading teams.
• Serve as main contact with exchanges/brokers on connectivity and latency issues.
• Track exchange API changes and coordinate adoption across teams.
• Support production deployments with safe change management.
• Utilize AI tools to automate tasks and improve monitoring.
• Demonstrate calm, methodical problem-solving under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Fasanara Digital was established 7 years ago and is the crypto arm of Fasanara Capital, a 14 year-old boutique alternative asset manager. We are a Quantitative Investment fund applying a scientific approach to investing in crypto assets. Our goal is to achieve exceptional risk-adjusted returns. We pursue a range of diversified and highly sophisticated investment strategies that seek to profit from inefficiencies in the market structure and range from market making to cross-exchanges arbitrage.

About the Role

Fasanara Digital is looking for a High-Frequency Trading Operations Engineer to help keep our trading platform running reliably. You will be the first line of response for issues across our trading infrastructure, working closely with development, quantitative research and trading teams, as well as external exchanges and brokers. This role suits someone who likes solving problems in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and wants to build a career at the intersection of technology and financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the trading infrastructure and investigate issues in real time, identifying root causes and driving them to resolution.
• Triage incidents and coordinate with development, quantitative research and trading teams so issues are prioritised and resolved efficiently.
• Act as the main point of contact with exchanges and brokers on operational matters, including connectivity problems, latency degradation and order rejections.
• Track exchange API changes and upgrades, and coordinate their adoption across internal teams.
• Support development teams in planning, testing and safely deploying system changes to production.
• Use the latest AI tools to improve operational efficiency, automate routine tasks and strengthen platform monitoring.
• A strong problem-solving mindset and a calm, methodical approach under pressure.
• Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Curiosity, initiative and an eagerness to learn. No prior experience in trading or financial services is required.
