Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, demonstrate products at the tasting station, and drive sales through friendly service and product sampling. You will prepare and present food using standard directions, support event activities, and maintain sample inventories with strict food safety practices.

The role emphasizes high-energy interactions, teamwork with store staff, and the ability to stand for long periods while contributing to a vibrant, healthy living

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts products.
• Thrives on customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell product.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including event setup and takedown and communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings.
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory; preparing event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program specific equipment; adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
