Job summary

Mad Science of Washington DC is seeking fun, high-energy individuals to join our Performance Team to lead hands-on STEM workshops for elementary students across the DMV, with full curriculum and training supplied.

This is a targeted, part-time supplemental role with variable hours based on school schedules and events; you will travel to schools and pick up equipment from our warehouse in Silver Spring, MD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of group management experience with 10+ children.
• Own a reliable personal vehicle to haul equipment.
• Punctuality and quick response to schedule confirmations within 24 hours.
• Ability to clear state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, interactive science workshops for elementary school-aged children.
• Inspire and turn complex science concepts into hands-on fun.
• Travel to schools, community centers, and event locations across the DMV.
• Pickup workshop equipment from our warehouse in Silver Spring, MD.
