Job summary

Mad Science of Washington DC is seeking fun, high-energy performers to join our Performance Team on a part-time basis. You will deliver theatrical, hands-on STEM workshops to elementary students using our full curriculum and training, bringing energy and strong classroom management.

Expect travel to schools and community spaces across the DMV, loading gear from our McLean storage, and inspiring curious minds with safe, exciting experiments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year managing groups of 10+ elementary kids simultaneously (e.g., classroom, theater, camp counseling, youth athletics).
• Must own a reliable car to haul equipment kits to event sites.
• Track record of arriving early and responding to schedule confirmations within 24 hours.
• Must clear state and federal criminal background checks.
