Mad Science of Washington DC seeks fun, high-energy individuals to join our Performance Team. You will lead hands-on science workshops for elementary students, travel to schools and events across the DMV, and get paid to have fun while delivering safe, engaging demonstrations.

The role is a targeted, part-time supplemental position with flexible hours based on school schedules and bookings. You will need a reliable vehicle, strong classroom management, and punctual communication to coordinate

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of group management experience with 10+ kids
• Must own a reliable car to haul equipment to events
• Punctual and responsive to schedule confirmations within 24 hours
• Must clear state and federal background checks

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, interactive science workshops for elementary students
• Inspire students by turning complex concepts into hands-on activities
• Travel to schools, community centers, and events across the DMV
• Pick up workshop equipment from our warehouse in Silver Spring, MD
