Mad Science of Washington DC is seeking lively performers to join our Performance Team for exciting, hands-on STEM programs in the DMV area. You will lead high-energy workshops, inspire young learners, and travel to schools and community centers across the DMV.

The role is targeted, part-time supplemental income with flexible hours based on school schedules and events. A reliable vehicle and upbeat classroom presence are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year managing groups of 10+ elementary kids simultaneously.
• Must own a reliable car to haul equipment to event sites.
• Track record of arriving early and responding to schedule confirmations within 24 hours.
• Must clear state and federal criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, interactive science workshops and demonstrations for elementary school-aged children.
• Turn complex science concepts into unforgettable, hands-on fun.
• Travel to various schools, community centers, and event locations across the DMV.
• Pickup workshop equipment from our storage unit in McLean, VA.
