Life Time Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor in Naperville to lead a variety of classes across formats, promote Life Time programs, and maintain member relationships to boost attendance.

The role emphasizes safety, energy, and providing an engaging fitness experience for participants. Responsibilities include teaching diverse formats, promoting services, and ensuring studio readiness with high energy and supportive coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years fitness instructor work experience.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
• Must have one of NASM, ACE, AFAA, or AEA group exercise certifications.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class.
• Ability to routinely lift 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
• Educate participants on correct form and moves during routines.
• Listen to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes.
• Clean and organize studio space after each class.
• Provide current music for each class that entertains and motivates while using appropriate language.
• Promote Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services to encourage participation in Classes at Life Time.
