Job summary

Time Out Market Brooklyn is seeking energetic Cocktail Servers to join our beverage team. You will take beverage orders, enter orders accurately into the POS, pick up completed drinks from the bar, and deliver them promptly to tables.

This is a high-volume position requiring strong communication and the ability to move quickly while maintaining excellent guest service. Time Out Market Brooklyn offers a favorable tip pool across the beverage team and strong earning potential during peak shifts,

Qualifications

• Previous serving or high-volume hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong guest-service and communication skills.
• Weekend/evening/holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable beverage service.
• Take cocktail, beer, wine, non-alcoholic, and other beverage orders.
• Accurately enter all orders into the POS system.
• Pick up completed beverages from the bar and deliver them efficiently to guests.
• Maintain assigned service areas, including clearing glassware and keeping tables clean.
• Communicate closely with bartenders, barbacks, managers, and other FOH team members.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, specials, and promotions.
• Check guest identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service policies.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and side work as assigned.
• Help maintain clean and organized guest-facing areas.
• Provide support during private events and market activations as needed.
• Follow all Time Out Market service, uniform, safety, and sanitation standards.
