Job summary

Intentional Hospitality Catering is seeking a motivated kitchen assistant for our corporate culinary team in Phoenix. You will support daily meal execution, including boxed meals and buffets, with high energy and meticulous organization to deliver quality food for events.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in high-volume catering, are proficient in volume prep, and can follow directions during busy periods. You must lift up to 50 pounds, multitask, and maintain clean workstations while collaborating

Qualifications

• 3 years of high-volume or catering kitchen experience.
• Experience with volume prep and recipe execution.
• Ability to follow directives during busy times.
• Knowledge of common weights and recipe measurements.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand long hours.
• Flexible schedule based on event calendar.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep items and recipes according to directions and specs on prep sheets.
• Apply safe Food Handling and Sanitation practices when preparing, handling or storing consumable items.
• Organize and pack cambros and carts by event so they can be loaded and delivered.
• End of shift cleaning and cleanliness throughout shift.
