Qualifications

  • Develop VIC client strategy leveraging CRM data for acquisition, retention and long-term development.
  • Translate client insights into targeted clienteling and engagement strategies with regional teams.
  • Monitor sales performance across Retail, Wholesale and E‑Commerce and report KPIs and gaps.
  • Develop dashboards, business reviews and strategic recommendations for leadership and HQ.
  • Create compelling product storytelling and sales tools with HQ to reinforce Messika’s craftsmanship.

Messika is a Parisian Haute Joaillerie Maison founded in 2005 by Artistic Director Valérie Messika that rewrites the codes of modern jewelry, setting diamonds free in motion. Since the 1970s, Valérie Messika has made the world of diamonds her own, shaping instinctive expertise and a contemporary vision. Behind the iconic Move collection and signature High Jewelry creations, the Maison stands as a singular voice in international luxury.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the President, The Americas, and working in close collaboration with the Global High-End Business Unit team in Paris, your role will be to drive High Jewelry growth and commercial performance across the Americas.

You will act as the key regional business partner for the High-End category, connecting Merchandising, VIC Client Development, and Sales Performance to identify growth opportunities and translate global High Jewelry strategy into impactful local business initiatives.

Working closely with HQ, Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, Merchandising, CRM, Communications, and Commercial teams, you will ensure strong coordination across the region and maximize the commercial impact of High Jewelry across all channels.

Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Drive the High Jewelry business strategy across the Americas, identifying growth opportunities across markets, channels, boutiques, and client segments.
  • Partner with HQ and Merchandising teams to optimize High Jewelry assortments, ensuring alignment with client demand, business priorities, and Maison positioning.
  • Coordinate High Jewelry allocations and product circulation across boutiques, events, private appointments, and client activations to maximize visibility and sales opportunities.
  • Develop the VIC client strategy for High Jewelry, leveraging CRM data, client insights, segmentation, and behavioral analysis to support acquisition, retention, reactivation, and long‑term client development.
  • Partner with Retail, Commercial, and the Global VIC Coordinator to translate client insights into targeted clienteling and personalized engagement strategies.
  • Monitor Fine & High Jewelry sales performance across Retail, Wholesale, and E-Commerce, analyzing performance by market, boutique, category, collection, and price point.
  • Track key business KPIs and sales objectives, identify performance gaps and opportunities, and drive appropriate follow‑up and corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to provide leadership and HQ with clear visibility on performance and growth opportunities.
  • Develop, in collaboration with HQ, compelling High Jewelry product storytelling and sales tools that reinforce Messika’s craftsmanship, innovation, and exclusivity.
  • Adapt global product narratives to local audiences while ensuring consistency across client touchpoints and channels.
  • Equip commercial teams with training materials, product storytelling, lookbooks, and presentation guidelines to strengthen client engagement and conversion.
  • Coordinate with Communications, Digital, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure a consistent and compelling High Jewelry experience across the Americas.
PROFILE
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Development and Commercial roles, within the High Jewelry Industry.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury and High Jewelry business, with the ability to connect merchandising, client development, and commercial performance to drive sustainable growth.
  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to leverage sales performance, client insights, market trends, and business KPIs to develop clear recommendations and actionable growth strategies.
  • Experience operating in a multi‑channel luxury environment and collaborating effectively with Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, and HQ teams across both strategic and operational topics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration across regions and functions while aligning global and local priorities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strategic and commercially driven mindset, combining strong business acumen with a natural ability to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and performance improvement.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with experience developing impactful business reviews, sales tools, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • French language skills are a plus but not required.
