Qualifications

• Licensed mortgage loan officer or aspiring professional with mortgage experience

• Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, income docs, and financial statements
• Guide clients through the mortgage process with expert advice and clear answers
• Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate, timely processing of loans
• Perform credit and risk analyses to determine terms and rates
• Negotiate terms with borrowers while maintaining compliance
• Prepare and review loan documents for approval and signature
• Monitor loan performance and follow up on delinquencies as needed
• Stay updated on regulations and lending policies
