Job summary

Trotter & Morton Facility Services in Lacey, WA is seeking a Maintenance Sales Representative to drive the regional sales territory for the LINC Service Division. You will prospect, meet clients, and communicate complex maintenance solutions across multi-level decision makers.

The role offers a base salary starting at $80,000–$100,000 with commissions, a car allowance, and benefits including medical insurance and paid time off. Travel to local sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Hunter sales mentality, goal driven and self-motivated.
• 2 years of previous sales experience.
• Prior HVAC experience is an asset but not required.
• Prior B2B sales experience is an asset but not required.
• Cold calling willingness and experience is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean record is required.
• Ability to work comfortably with heights.

Responsibilities

• Drive entire sales territory for prospecting and client meetings.
• Climb ladders to access rooftop units when necessary.
• Achieve or exceed Sales Goals and Awards.
• Communicate complex problems into simple explanations.
• Deal with a complex sale and multi-level decision makers.
• Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with the sales team to resolve problems, find opportunities and maximize profits.
• In a timely fashion, prepare complete, clear, and concise reports, proposals, booking packages, paperwork and CRM data.
• Learn to identify customer needs by influencing the customer via a value proposition sale.
• Develop the ability to qualify prospects, set effective appointments, follow up on leads and referrals and answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner.
• Develop an understanding of the prospect's decision-making process, address customer concerns and commit prospect to decision making timetable.
• Research proactively the prospect's organization and influences the customer to buy through thorough analysis of the client’s organizational needs.
• Identify equipment conditions, survey mechanical systems, recognize project opportunities and recommend maintenance requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.
