LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. You will operate within a tiered pay plan, participate in the longevity bonus program, and have access to a comprehensive benefits package.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and Michigan Mechanic Certification, with a valid driver’s license. The role involves possible evening/weekend hours and opportunities for training and performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Michigan Mechanic Certification preferred.
• Able to read instructions and comprehend information.
• Excellent communication skills and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and perform work with efficiency.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts Department for needed parts.
• Document work performed and communicate updates to advisor.
• Road-test vehicles and ensure customer issues are resolved.
