Upward Trend seeks an Analyst - Long/Short Equity (Single Manager style) in New York, focusing on US Consumer Staples. You will join a multibillion-dollar fundamental equities division, executing high-conviction, in-depth research with an experienced team.

Candidates with L/S Equity experience or strong deep analytical skills who can independently generate investment ideas are preferred; relocation within the US is covered, and base salary 180k–260k USD with a strong bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Proven specialization in US Consumer Staples Equities.
• We will prioritise candidates currently working in L/S Equity, but other buyside profiles considered if strong fundamental analysis skills are evident.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with ability to independently generate investment ideas.
