Position Overview:

The Sr. Research Analyst will support Portfolio Managers in conducting in-depth fundamental research on globally listed companies within the Consumer Staples sector. Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining detailed financial models, engaging with company management teams and sell-side analysts, analyzing company and industry trends, and communicating well-supported research findings and recommendations to the team. The Analyst will also be expected to proactively generate and develop original investment ideas, grounded in rigorous fundamental analysis and differentiated insights. This role involves close collaboration with other Sr. Research Analysts and contributing to investment decisions through thoughtful, data-driven perspectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling capabilities, excellent analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a keen awareness of global industry, economic, and market trends.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in equity research, buy-side strongly preferred.
  • 5 or more years covering the global consumer sector, with emphasis on Consumer Staples.
  • Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials; CFA designation or progress toward CFA is strongly preferred.
  • Graduate degree in Business is a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for equity investing and an appreciation for disciplined, value-oriented investment strategies.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
