Job summary

Encloud Services LLC in Katy, TX seeks a Database Administrator to optimize SQL Server performance and maintain high availability. You will build and troubleshoot SQL Server clusters, patch servers, and manage SSIS/SSRS deployments across client locations.

The role requires a Master’s in CS or related field and 1 year of experience, with proficiency in PowerShell, T-SQL, Azure/AWS/GCP, and BI tools. Expect travel to varied client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 1 year of experience.
• Experience with SQL Server clustering and HA technologies is expected.

Responsibilities

• Tune performance for maximum resource utilization.
• Support SQL Server clusters and patching to minimize data loss.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot SSIS packages.
• Administrate and install SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Design, implement, and maintain high availability (Always On, Replication, Log Shipping).
• Recover databases in DR scenarios and restore master DB when needed.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell; create SMO objects with PowerShell.
• Work at unanticipated client locations.
