Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. seeks a Nursing Director for Vascular & Complex Surgery to lead a 32-bed inpatient unit in the Klarman Building.

This high-acuity service combines vascular and endovascular procedures with multidisciplinary care and strong educational support. The Nursing Director will advance clinical excellence, workforce engagement, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship while partnering with senior leaders and Dana-Farber to grow services and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Finance, or Hospital Administration preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 3–5 years of related nursing experience required; 1–3 years of leadership/management preferred.
• Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required.

Responsabilités

• Lead a 32-bed inpatient surgical unit in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Advance clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and financial stewardship.
• Foster workforce engagement and collaborative, high-functioning teams.
• Partner with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to expand patient services.
• Mentor and support nurse leaders with an Assistant Nursing Director and unit educator.
