Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to hibachi tables and seat them warmly
• Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to chefs and kitchen staff
• Serve appetizers, soups, salads, drinks, and entrees promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with hibachi chefs for smooth timing and guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, sushi, and premium entrées
• Handle guest inquiries and dietary restrictions with care and accuracy
• Process payments, manage cash/POS, and maintain table cleanliness

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests at hibachi tables, ensuring a warm and memorable dining experience
• Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to hibachi chefs and kitchen staff
• Serve appetizers, soups, salads, drinks, and entrees in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with hibachi chefs to ensure smooth table timing and guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, sushi, and premium entrée options
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary restrictions with care and accuracy
• Process payments, manage cash and POS transactions, and maintain table cleanliness

Requirements:

• Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred, hibachi or teppanyaki experience a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume, fast-paced dining environment
• Team player who works well alongside chefs, hosts, and fellow servers
• Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and menu items is a bonus
• Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must meet minimum age requirement to serve alcohol per NC state law
