Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Principal Product Engineer for the Hi-Reliability team in Palm Bay, Florida. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years in new product development in semiconductors.
• Experience with IC characterization and NPI.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead product engineering for new ICs from silicon to release.
• Coordinate across IC design, test, applications, packaging, reliability, radiation effects, and manufacturing teams.
• Plan and execute IC characterization to evaluate electrical performance.
• Analyze characterization, test, yield, and production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Use data-driven analysis to support product decisions and investigate issues.
• Partner with Test Engineering on characterization and production test strategies.
• Support root-cause analysis of complex product and manufacturing issues.
• Contribute to specifications, qualification activities, test requirements, and release criteria.
• Identify opportunities to improve NPI execution and processes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations across engineering teams and stakeholders.
