Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Palm Bay, Florida is seeking an Associate Product Engineer for our Hi‑Reliability team. You will support high‑reliability ICs from development through qualification and production, learning from senior engineers and collaborating across design, test, reliability, packaging and manufacturing.

You will apply electrical engineering fundamentals, perform characterization, analyze data, and help deliver reliable semiconductor solutions for space and harsh environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 0–5 years of electrical/semiconductor product evaluation experience.
• Strong foundation in Analog/Mixed-Signal and circuit theory.
• Hands-on lab experience with scopes, power supplies, and meters.
• Basic programming in C, C++, Python, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities for new ICs from silicon evaluation through production release.
• Coordinate with design, test, packaging, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
• Perform lab testing and IC characterization to evaluate electrical performance.
• Analyze characterization, test, and yield data to identify trends and margins.
• Assist in root‑cause investigations for product and manufacturing issues.
• Contribute to documentation of specifications, evaluation reports, and qualifications.
• Communicate findings clearly within project teams.
