Job summary

Frequency Electronics, Inc. in Uniondale, NY seeks a Hi-Rel Solder Assembler with 2-3 years of PCB assembly experience to join our manufacturing team. You will perform precision hand soldering to IPC Class 3 standards and assemble high-reliability PCBs and sub-assemblies.

Work with microscopy and soldering equipment, read engineering drawings, and ensure compliance with IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610. On-site with a 9/80 schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years PCB/electronics assembly experience.
• Soldering to IPC Class 3 standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Experience with microscopes and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards.
• Assemble and solder high-reliability PCBs and subassemblies per IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
• Operate soldering equipment, microscopes, and other assembly tools.
• Read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.
