Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation is seeking a Hi-Rel Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards and assemble high-reliability PCBs and subassemblies.

A High School diploma with 2+ years in PCB or electronics assembly is required, along with IPC J-STD-001/A-610 knowledge or certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in PCB or electronics assembly
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and interpret assembly documents and drawings
• Strong computer and written skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards
• Assemble and solder high-reliability PCBs and sub assemblies per IPC standards
• Operate soldering equipment and microscopes
• Read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings
