Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Hi-lo driver in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow MIOSHA safety requirements.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient experience with bar coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Keep presses and work centers supplied with containers, parts, material and/or components; first priority to support production and reduce downtime.
• Verify material and product identification with part number and operation number.
• Weight count containers prior to final audit when not standard packaging.
• Identify nonconforming products entering the hold area with part number, quantity and defect description.
• Operate the Hi-lo safely and complete a daily Hi-lo safety checklist; report issues to maintenance.
