Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking an experienced Hi-lo driver to support production lines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will ensure containers, parts and materials are delivered to presses and work centers, verify labeling and part numbers, and participate in safe operating procedures.

The role requires at least 2 years of Hi-lo driving experience, adherence to MIOSHA safety guidelines, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Hi-lo driver in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MIOSHA safety requirements and related policies.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficient use of barcode systems and AS400 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep presses and work centers supplied with containers, parts, material and/or components to support production.
• Verify material and product identification with part number and operation number.
• Weigh containers before final audit, WIP, or finished goods when not standard pack.
• Identify nonconforming products with part number, quantity and defect description.
• Operate Hi-lo safely and complete daily safety checklists for maintenance.
• Assist in scrap handling and weight certification of scrap containers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices.
