Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care in Palm Beach, Florida. You will assist clients with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and medications in a home-care setting.

Ideal candidates have a CNA license or HHA certificate, a valid driver license, background screening, CPR certification, and a willingness to perform light housekeeping and companionship. Flexible schedules and OT pay are offered.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate required.
• Valid driver license or state photo ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• TB test or Chest X-ray completed.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check required.
• CPR Card (not online).
• Alzheimer's/HIV CEU 1 and reference info.flclearinghouse.com.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (personal hygiene).
• Assist with ambulation/transfers and mobility tasks.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany to errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Provide hospice supportive care as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with exercises and mobility routines.
• Assist with incontinence care.
• Use gait belts or Hoyer lifts as required.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to): Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:
