Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to join our Lake Worth team. You will perform personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments in a home-care setting.

The role requires a CNA license or HHA certificate with Palm Beach County badge, valid ID and driver's license, and a Level 2 background check. Training, bonuses, and flexible scheduling are provided to support quality care.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate with Palm Beach County badge.
• Valid driver license or state ID plus a second form of ID.
• Auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• CPR certification (not online).
• TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Level 2 fingerprint background check.
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and medication CEUs.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and snacks; accompany to appointments.
• Light housekeeping: vacuum, dust, dishes, laundry.
• Provide hospice support and medication reminders.
• Assist with exercises and use gait belts or Hoyer lifts.
• Manage incontinence care as needed.

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

Personal Hygiene

Ambulation/Transfers

Dressing/Shaving

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

Providing hospice supportive care

Medication reminders

Assisting with exercises

Incontinence care

Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

Hoyer lift

Requirements:
