Job summary

Granville Place, a Discovery Senior Living community in Burlington, NJ, is hiring part-time Caregivers to provide hands-on care and emotional support in a safe, home-like environment.

Two positions are available: part-time weekend 6am–2pm and part-time overnight 10pm–6am. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining cleanliness, promoting dignity and safety, and engaging residents in life skills and enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA/HHA required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills and multitasking ability.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence and safety, promoting dignity.
• Assist with activities of daily living as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities: Hiring for 2 positions

Part Time every other week end 6am to 2pm

Part Time overnight 10pm to 6am

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse’s Aid or Home Health Aide certification required
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
