Discovery Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Giver to provide hands-on care and support in a safe, home‑like environment for residents. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and emotional well‑being as part of daily living assistance.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, aiding with activities of daily living, and engaging residents in meaningful life enrichment activities while communicating effectively with colleagues and residents alike.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
