Job summary

Granville Place, a Discovery Senior Living community, is seeking caring individuals to join our team as part-time caregivers. The positions involve helping residents with daily activities in a safe home-like environment and supporting their independence and dignity.

Two part-time shifts available: every other weekend 6am-2pm and overnight 10pm-6am. Competitive wages and a full benefits package for eligible staff are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence, dignity and safety.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and life enrichment activities.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities: Hiring for 2 positions

Part Time Every Other Week End 6am To 2pm

Part Time overnight 10pm to 6am

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid or Home Health Aide certification required
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
