Job summary

Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team. This part-time or per-diem role operates 7pm–7am and focuses on compassionate care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians and update documentation
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene
• Provide vital sign measurements and record as ordered by providers
• Assist residents with exercises, oxygen equipment, and ostomy care as needed
• Perform administrative tasks, such as completing forms and reports
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required
• Provide personal assistance and respond to call bells or signaling calls
• Assist with activities, mealtime, and resident orientation
• Notify supervisors of changes in resident status or medical needs
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to resident locations (if applicable)
