WNY Manors, a resident-centered assisted living community in Buffalo, NY, seeks dependable Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to help residents live with dignity and independence. You will provide hands-on ADL support, companionship, and safe, respectful care in a positive community.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, meals, and daily routines, while following individual care plans and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Valid PCA or HHA certification recognized in New York State.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to quality care.
• Ability to lift, assist, and support residents as needed.
• Previous experience in assisted living or home care preferred, but not required.

Position Overview

The PCA's and HHA's provides hands-on assistance with daily living tasks, supports residents’ physical and emotional well-being, and helps maintain a safe and positive community environment. This role is essential to ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions to supervisory staff
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe living environment
• Following individualized care plans and facility policies
• Supporting residents with recreational or social activities
• Participating in ongoing training and in-service requirements
