Job summary

Towne Home Care in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides/CNAs to provide personal care and daily living assistance to geriatric clients in their homes. Responsibilities include bathing, toileting, mobility support, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship.

Applicants must hold a valid FL CNA license or complete an AHCA-approved 40-hour HHA course, pass health clearance, background check, and have a valid driver’s license with access to a reliable

• Caring and compassionate personality required.
• Must have valid CNA license in Florida or other state, or AHCA-approved 40-hour HHA course completed.
• Clear communicable disease clearance and AHCA background screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in patients' residences (toileting, bathing, dressing, transfers, ambulation).
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Assist with mobility and basic therapies/exercises.
• Administer medications reminders and support adherence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; assist with errands and transportation.

Towne Home Care is looking for compassionate Home HealthAides/CNAsto provide supervision and assistance in the activities of daily living of our geriatric clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to patients in their residences,including toileting, bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation assistance, and more.
• Perform domestic and household tasks, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Assist with self-administration of medications and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Assist with grocery shopping, transportation to doctor appointments, and errands.

Requirements:

• Caring and compassionate personality
• Current CNA license inFL or another state OR completion of an AHCA-approved 40 hour Home HealthAide course
• Communicable disease clearance by a doctor, including1 Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray
• Level II Background Screening through AHCA Clearinghouse
• Driver's license and a reliable vehicle preferred
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
