Job summary

Towne Home Care in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides/CNAs to support geriatric clients with activities of daily living in their homes.

The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, light household tasks, and companionship. A valid CNA license in Florida or AHCA-approved training is required, along with health clearance and background screening. Reliable transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate personality.
• Current CNA license in FL or AHCA-approved 40-hour Home HealthAide course.
• Must have communicable disease clearance (PPD or chest X-ray) and Level II AHCA background screening.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services in patients' residences (bathing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation).
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Assist with mobility and therapeutic exercises as directed.
• Assist with medications and reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments.

Towne Home Care is looking for compassionate Home HealthAides/CNAsto provide supervision and assistance in the activities of daily living of our geriatric clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to patients in their residences,including toileting, bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation assistance, and more.
• Perform domestic and household tasks, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Assist with self-administration of medications and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Assist with grocery shopping, transportation to doctor appointments, and errands.

Requirements:

• Caring and compassionate personality
• Current CNA license inFL or another state OR completion of an AHCA-approved 40 hour Home HealthAide course
• Communicable disease clearance by a doctor, including1 Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray
• Level II Background Screening through AHCA Clearinghouse
• Driver's license and a reliable vehicle preferred
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
