Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach seeks compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care, assisting patients with daily living activities and medical support. You will help with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.

Training and supportive team culture are key highlights. Applicants should hold a CNA or HHA certificate, have a valid driver's license, and pass a level background check.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate is required, Palm Beach County badge preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding per instructions.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Assist with medication reminders and hospice supporting care as directed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
  • Personal Hygiene
• • Ambulation/Transfers
• • Dressing/Shaving
• • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
  • Medication reminders
• • Assisting with exercises
• • Incontinence care
• • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)

• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
