Job summary

Nova Leap is seeking caring in-home caregivers to support clients in the New York area. You will provide personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping in clients’ homes, helping them stay independent and safe.

Qualifications

• Must have English language comprehension skills.
• Experience in a healthcare in-home environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform duties.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience as a caregiver, HHA or CNA.
• Observe and enforce health and safety standards.
• Consistent schedule and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Engagement: walks, outings, games, crafts, meal prep, shopping, conversation.
• Light housekeeping: laundry, vacuuming, dishes, dusting, trash, mail.
• Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Medication and appointment reminders.
• Assist with transportation to doctor’s appointments.

• Experience working as a caregiver, HHA, or CNA.
