Job summary

Nova Leap Home Health is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, in-home assistance in a supportive team environment. The role focuses on one-on-one engagement, personal care, and daily living activities to enhance client comfort and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation assistance. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, with opportunities for training and growth within the agency.

Qualifications

• Must have English language comprehension skills.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds, with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day.
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner with complex clients.
• Available to work a consistent schedule.
• Prior experience in a healthcare 'in-home' environment.
• Observe and enforce health and safety standards.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Experience working as a caregiver, HHA, or CNA.

Responsibilities

• Engagement: walks, outings, games, crafts, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and conversation.
• Light Housekeeping: laundry, vacuuming, dishes, dusting, trash removal, and checking mail.
• Personal Care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Medication and appointment reminders.
• Assist with transportation to doctor’s appointments.
