Assisting Hands Home Care in Boston, MA is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes. You will help with daily activities, provide companionship, and follow care plans under RN supervision. The role offers flexible scheduling and ongoing training to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required.
• CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience required or preferred.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience welcome.
• Prior home care experience is a plus but not required; compassionate, eager to help.
• Strong communication and caring nature are essential.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals to ensure healthy options.
• Provide medication reminders and adhere to care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities to brighten days.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and reliability.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients.
• Provide occasional transportation to appointments; miles reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
