Job summary

CareGivers America is seeking a Pediatric Caregiver to support children in their homes. Earn $14.75/hr with paid training; no experience required as training will be provided to become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

You will provide 1:1 supervision, assist with daily living skills, and help implement IEPs and behavior support plans in a safe in-home setting. Flexible schedules and strong benefits accompany opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred.
• Willingness to travel to multiple listed towns and Luzerne County.
• Reliable transportation to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, meals, and routine care.
• Implement and support IEPs and behavior support plans (BIPs).
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities to promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with mobility-related tasks and daily activities as needed.

Job Requriements:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) certificate preferred
• Willingness to work in Factoryville, Hanover Township, Wyoming, Pittston Township, Hazelton, or Luzerne County
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients location

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting

• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development

• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
