Job summary

Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Class 2 RORO Driver for the Linwood depot on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves operating assigned vehicles on specified routes Monday to Friday, 6am–4pm, with potential overtime.

You will conduct vehicle checks, collect waste, and adhere to driver hours and highway regulations while delivering professional, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Holders of a full Class 2 driving licence.
• Hold a valid DCPC (Driver CPC).
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Display a professional and organized approach.
• Effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects to ensure roadworthiness.
• Collect waste from allocated customers.
• Comply with driver hours regulations and highway rules.
• Maintain a duty of care to self and others.
• Ensure vehicle security and proper use of equipment and plant.
• Keep mandatory driver/vehicle records up to date.
• Provide customers with high levels of service.

Description

Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Class 2 RORO Driver to join the Linwood depot in a permanent basis.

Monday - Friday, 6am to 4pm with eligibility for overtime

In this role, you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards
• Collect all waste from allocated customers
• Comply with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations
• Hold a duty of care to self & others
• Ensure vehicle security including equipment & plant
• Maintain of mandatory driver/vehicle records
• Provide customers with the highest level of service

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Hold full Class 2 driving licence
• Hold valid DCPC
• Hold valid Digital Tachograph
• Display professional and organised approach
• Handle good time management
• Display initiative
• Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
• Have a willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
