Job description

Driver Hire Teesside is currently recruiting for a highly experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team.

• PAY RATE OF £16.60 per hour
• WEEKLY PAY
• OVERTIME AVAILABLE

You will be required to perform deliveries from a market-leading company based in Hartlepool.

Work will consist of the delivery of carpets and floor coverings, using a box bodied or curtain-side vehicle, with a winch to assist with unloading.

This is a physically demanding role, so you must be reasonably fit as this position does require manual handling for the unloading of the carpet rolls, which will be heavy.

You must hold a valid DBS for this role which Driver Hire Teesside will pay for and provide for you.

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Applicants requirements:

• HGV Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence, with at least 6 months professional driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be physically fit
• Own transport is essential due to early start times of 6am
• Be fully flexible with hours due to late finishes
• Professional and friendly attitude
