Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Specialist to lead exposure assessments and monitoring during routine operations, turnarounds, and capital projects.

You will review and summarize data, ensure regulatory compliance, and support medical surveillance programs, PPE practices, and IH audits across corporate and local sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, safety, engineering, or a related science or acceptable equivalent with 2 years of experience.
• Internship through Marathon Petroleum HESS program is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts exposure assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and indoor air quality investigations.
• Collects and summarizes exposure data to comply with regulations and corporate requirements.
• Maintains and updates exposure-based medical surveillance programs and IH equipment.
• Serves as SME in exposure control, PPE, and IH sampling equipment; performs IH audits.
