Heritage Engineering Platform – Chief Executive Officer

Location: Remote/hybrid with travel to HH office in Boston and to partner company locations

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and will include a significant equity stake

Role Overview

We are a high-growth, national engineering services provider scaling towards $10M EBITDA target by the end of 2026. We have a dedicated team of ~40 employees and are looking to scale quickly into a premier national market leader.

We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the platform through its next phase of growth. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial, industry-experienced executive with a proven track record operating engineering services businesses at scale, who can set platform direction while owning full P&L, operational performance, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations & Systems

• Own platform-level operations, including financial performance, resource allocation, and scalability.
• Manage business development initiatives and cross selling across partners
• Evaluate, select, and implement core enterprise systems, including ERP and financial/operational systems.
• Improve reporting, decision-making, and performance management across the platform.
• Provide operational leadership while maintaining appropriate autonomy at the company level.
• Lead engineering operations across the platform.

Strategic Initiatives

• Partner closely with owners, investors, and the board on strategy, performance, and growth initiatives
• Lead the integration of newly acquired firms and maintain strong relationships with sellers.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing leadership teams across the platform.

• Experience selecting and implementing enterprise systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Experience in platform, multi-entity, or PE-backed environments strongly preferred.
